May I recommend a couple of tactics?
- Rent a condo at a private country club, but ASK to be sure you will have golf priviledges. Check out Palm Valley Country Club to see how these can vary based on membership levels. Some clubs don't let guests/renters play at all - some allow unlimited use for a one time fee - some charge per play greens fees. Just be sure you know what you are renting.
- Reserve your tee time through a discount consolidator like GolfNow.com or Affordable Palm Springs Tee Times
- Let someone else do your research like PalmSprings.com
- Stay at a resort that offers golf privileges like the Marriott Desert Springs or Indian Wells Resort (book at priceline for steep discounts off season)
